When life feels out of control, often our emotions do too. But as uncomfortable as they may be at times, our feelings are not something to be afraid of. They are valid and necessary, serving a purpose that is always worth exploring. We encourage our clients to sit with the emotions they experience, rather than avoid them – because it is through that process that they can learn to trust themselves and their own resilience. At the end of the day, mental wellness isn’t about the absence of uncomfortable emotions, but the skill set to cope with them, confront them, and resolve them.
